WHAT
HOW

The International Citizen Service offers the opportunity to make a difference in different places of the world such as Africa, Asia or Latin America.

ICS is for young people from across the UK aged between 18 and 25, it offers international volunteer placements that last 10-12 weeks.

Volunteers are not expected to use any of their personal money before, during and after their ICS placement: vaccinations, visa fees, accommodation, travel expenses, food, travel insurance, monthly allowance, personal support, and the pre-departure and post-departure training would be funded by the British government. However, once accepted all volunteers are expected to fundraise at least £800 before departure.
