Connect Cymru was established in 1994, through a service level agreement between the Wales Youth Agency and the UK National Agency for the Youth for Europe. Since this date, we have been committed to working on behalf of young people throughout Wales by championing international opportunities for young people across Wales.
We want to promote international youth work programmes to all the young people from Wales.
We believe that intercultural exchanges enable young people to develop new skills and gain new experiences that can change their lives.
Our advisory group is geographically representative and our promotion events take place in regions right the way across Wales.
Connect Cymru supports applicants and delivers workshops and interactive information sessions to youth work practitioners and young people who are keen to undertake international projects funded by the European Commissions Erasmus+ programme.
Our main goal is to disseminate information on international volunteering opportunities, education and training for young people throughout Wales because international opportunities have the potential to be life changing experiences
